My Story

Hello and welcome to MissHaleyOT!

I'm Haley, and my journey in occupational therapy began in 2010 when I started my career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) working with adults. For a decade, I dedicated myself to helping adults improve their quality of life. However, in early 2020, I made a significant career change to pediatric occupational therapy, a change that marked the beginning of a new and fulfilling chapter in my career.

Shortly after transitioning to pediatrics, my son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This personal experience deepened my understanding and passion for my work. As a mom to neurospicy kids – my son with ASD and my daughter with ADHD – my professional mission became a personal one. Motivated by my children's unique needs and strengths, I decided to return to grad school and became a fully certified Occupational Therapist (OT). This journey has reignited my passion and commitment to helping others in our community.
